Iain,

What settings do you have for SSL, authentication and server port? These
appear to have been filled in automatically but I'm wondering if they are
correct.

Thanks,

Caroline.

I had this problem. It seemed to solve itself when I filled in all the
fields for the account, even the optional ones.

I've checked the settings on the PlusNet website and everything seems to be
fine, but I'm sure you're right that there's something wrong somewhere. If
someone else is using Plusnet, I'd be interested to know exactly what
settings they are using to get e-mail working both on wifi and on 3G or 4G.

Hi Caroline,

My initial thought is that there is a problem with your outgoing mail
server.
I had a similar issue involving my ISP's email account, but I was
changing provider at the time anyway.

I knew how to access incoming and outgoing mail servers in older
versions of iOS, but the server field is the only thing displayed now.
Would your broadband or mobile providers be of any help?

Kind regards,

Niall
