Hi Yusuf, Can you help me over another issue here?I am awaiting a Bluetooth keyboard for my Iphone, will that help with navigation on IBOOKS?Thanks Jeff----- Original Message ----- From: "Yusuf" <yusufaosman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 06, 2011 2:14 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: iPhone EbooksJackie, I can help you with this and I think you'll be very happy. Firstly, if the book is purchased through the IBooks Store you'll be able to navigate through it by page, word, character etc. You can also access chapters through the page of contents. Good news is that if you already have a compatible Braille display, you can use it to read IBooks. If I remember correctly the IBooks app isn't automatically on the IPhone, I don't know about the IPad or IPod, but its free and you can easily download it from the apps store. All the books in the IBooks store are accessible with Voice Over, if you want you can download a sample before purchasing.Hopefully that will help you and Mike. If it were available for the iPod or iPhone, and I were to download it in the App store, could I read it using VoiceOver and record it onto say the Plextalkto allow better navigation? Is this just a dream or can I really do it?I haven't followed the threads about Ebooks or readers until now as I prefer Braille wherever I can get it. So any suggestions gratefully appreciated which may help those of us who need these texts in a format we can at leastaccess?
