Hi Richard

Hook your iPad up to iTunes, and choose Reset to Default or whatever it is. You will be prompted for confirmation, and warned of data loss etc, but do
this to put it back to how it was when you opened the box.

Hi, I have just sold my iPad 3rd generation and wondered if anyone
knows and can tell me how to reset to default and, clear/wipe the
memory so that it can be posted?
Many thanks
Richard
