Forgive my lack of keystrokes here, but basically you have to select the
column which contains the monitory values.  Right click on it, and select
“Format Cells”, where on the “Number” tab, you will find “Currency” listed.
You can then select whatever currency symbol you wish, including the Pound
Sign, which may even be at the top of the list.

Hi David

Can you email me off list but I’d prefer it in each cell, In older versions
of excel it used to show the pound sign under currency but can’t see it now.
I select the whole column, go to format cell, but can’t find the option to
show the pound sign at the beginning of £7.50 etc, Thanks.

Adrian

Do you want the £ at the head of the column, or by each entry?
