Very interesting but I am fairly sure it is just a few blind people who had that service. I have no services whatsoever other than the DLA, now PIP and that's it! I think I am very luckey to have this PIP/DLA! ----- Original Message ----- From: "john gallagher" <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

hi futher to my last well how true it is about only having one life and things are much harder for us blind people now.

we have just had a letter this morning saying that the service that was provided to us via the rotary club has ended.

this service used to give blind people the chance to go to a concert in leeds where the drivers would take you and fetch you back. so, as i said on my last post things are going to get so much worse with the cut backs so if you can aford to go for something and learn it then go for it.

1still now we do have a much better choice than we did years ago.

hi there well as jackie says that's why all this is so interesting as we are all different i am very lucky to be able to buy stuff but my motoe is you only have one life and if you want the best and you can get it go for it. it is bad enough not seing anything in a visual world so just go for it. again i am very fortunate to be able to do so but for me the tellorion has terific apps and it is so very very easy to use. i do agree with you and martin though for someone on a low budget it is hard to get something which is really very good and accessible.

maybe in the future things like the telorion could work on the new moto gee at £150 and again as you say blind people have to pay lots more for this stuff just like the satnav but at
