Hi,

I don't recommend anything that purports to clean the registry, they usually
cause damage because of registry keys they don't know about.

If you need PC maintenance, we do have some manual options, I can do it for
you.  Please anyone contact me off list if any of this is of interest.  We are
data protection registered and will do our best.  We have remote and on-site
options.

All the best

Steve

Hi all,

Following your advice, I’ve just got rid of CCleaner. But do you recommend an
alternative registry cleaner? Or is the whole idea of registry cleaner apps
troublesome? I use Windows 10. Thanks.

I understand their concerns as it basically works by editing your
Registry, which is an extremely sensitive area.

Don’t use it.  It causes more problems than it solves.  That’s my
opinion anyway.

Hi

I am struggling to find the download link on the ccleaner website for
the free version of ccleaner, could somebody send me a link to the
actual download page for the free version please.
