Don't know what OS you have on the Netbook, but make sure you've got all the
latest Microsoft updates installed, service packs and all, this could make a
difference -

It may well simply be too old a copy of Office 2000.
That said, assuming it installed, have you updated Office the whatever the
latest service release is?

Hi I have recently installed a copy of office 2000 standard on a samsong
netbook, when I open word it seems to crash the computer. I have had the disc
for a while and it was loaded on to my desktop and works ok. any suggestions
as to the problem
