Hi

I am using outlook 2003 with an aol imap account.

When my messages come in, and as I am cursoring up and down
my messages, my speech goes very quiet but as soon as I
disconnect from the internet I can go through the messages
very quickly, Obviously outlook is constantly checking for
messages but this is annoying as I need to look at my
messages without it going quiet on me. What is the best way
of setting outlook to check for messages periodically but
leaving me free to view my messages? When I cursor down to
the next message, nothing happens, it takes a good few
seconds to stop what it's doing and I can then carry on and
go down another few messages but only a few before it
happens again.

Regards

Adrien
