Hi Nick,
Press the windows key for start menu and in the edit field that comes up, type uninstall a program. When you hear Jaws repeat uninstall a program, press enter and all the programs on your machine will come up in a list. Arrow down to internet explorer nine, press the applications or context menu key and arrow down to the first option, which is uninstall. Press enter on that and confirm that you want to uninstall when asked to do so. Wait a few minutes and when you hear you're back in your list of programs, that's it. You should then be left with only internet explorer eight and things should be back to normal.
Hope this makes sense.

Cheers,
Sandra.
