Hi Richard. The Plantronics headsets are extremely comfortable, in fact I can wear mine for several hours throughout the day without feeling any discomfort. The Audio 655 has large ear cups that completely surround the ear and a soft inner lining over the speaker grill so there is no rubbing of skin against plastic which I know from experience can be very irritating. I'm very specific about the comfort of my headphones or earphones, to me, that's more important or at least equally as important as the sound quality which by the way on these headsets is superb. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Godfrey-McKay To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 31, 2009 3:16 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: headset and microphone Hi Peter, I know you specifically referred to a headset, but if you're prepared to have the sound come through your PC speakers, you might like to consider a microphone perhaps coupled with a webcam. We bought two cheaply and fairly recently from the loads listed at Argos. We prefer that arrangement as we find the headsets are uncomfortable after a while. The last one I bought from Currys some months ago I found not to have a USB connection though I did specify this on purchase. Too late to do anything about it now. Thanks.
