Hi Yusuf,

Why not connect a pair of headphones and see what happens?  I would be
surprised if the headphone socket was mono, but I have heard you say it more
than once.  It also could be your lead that is at fault.

Paul, I don't think that's correct. the headphones output is mono not 
Stereo. I tried to connect it up through a fono cable to my amp and am only 
getting sound out of one speaker.

I've now got to find a way of connecting my Goodmans and DVD player through 
my Amp so that I can have sound through the Amp but not have to have the TV 
turned on.
