[access-uk] gmail imap problems

Hi listers
I’ve been following a current thread on gmail with great interest. I’m hoping
that someone on the list can help me with a related problem. I’ve set up a
gmail account using imap. Everything sort of works i.e. I can send and receive
emails from this account. Unfortunately when I’m using this account windows
live mail keeps on crashing giving me the error code 800ccc0f. I then click on
cancel and after a few seconds wlm carries on. I’ve looked up the code on
google and have been told either to convert to a pop account or to change the
security settings. I’m reluctant to try these until I’ve asked if anyone else
on the list has come across this problem. I’m using the latest wlm on win 7
home premium and Jaws 15.
