Thank you for your latest message on this thread.
Now you've mentioned it, I believe it's the setting under
preferences to enable audio feedback from the remote which I
was remembering from a message you had posted in another
thread either here or on another list. I think I got that
confused with "Talking Features" hence my thought that the
remote would actually talk.
