Hi Wendy and Sandra. That advice is indeed useful and I will get the drivers in future to just check off what is there against what is on the receipt. What I do is stand at the door with a couple of plastic recycling baskets in front of me into which I ask them to put the goods. Often they will hand them to me, saying what they are, and I put them into the baskets. That way I can carry things through to wherever I want to put them away. Your driver should certainly tell you whether any items have been substituted and whether any are missing due to non-availability on the day. If you are shopping online, you should have received a confirmation e-mail detailing your order. If anything is missing, e-mail them letting them know and they will e-mail back saying you will be refunded. Are you new to the system? Things often go a bit wrong at first, but as drivers get to know you they should get used to having to give you a bit more information. I hope all this helps. This could be considdered off topic particularly if it grows into a big thread, but I received a tesco order today only to find that when the driver had gone there were 3 items of my order missing. I rung tesco who told me that if I quoted the prices from the receipt then I would get a refund of the money for the missing items. I know a driver cannot put things away, but is it reasonable to ask the driver to go through the shopping to make sure that all the things that are on the receipt are in fact there in the delivery?
