Hi Paylay

I have this problem with freeview but with BBC1. I think it is something technical to do with transmissions. Mainly I think it depends on the location of the transmitter to where you are living. I live in Dunstable and receive transmissions from the Sandy Heath transmitter near Bedford which is a fair distance away from me.

All the best

Martin

Hi Everyone

I was told by Currys that they were no longer stocking the Logik Freeview boxes. I was given to understand that RNIB was the only place to get them.

But the Sony Bravia TVs, and the Panasonic LCD TVs (I do not know the model numbers) can receive audio description.

I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV which receives Audio Description. The problem is that it is buried deep within the menu structure, and I have not found a way of
turning it off and on without help.

I know I have said this before, but ITV3 audio description is terrible here. The sound breaks up when the AD person is speaking. I have had the aerial tested and spoken to someone on the Freeview helpline, but everything seems fine. It is not a problem with the television, as the Logik box breaks up as well, and the Nebula box connected to my PC breaks up, although not quite as badly. Does anyone else have this problem and, if so, have they found a cure?
