Hi Chris, that's pretty much what I said when I got mine. They've made the mistake of using a bottom of the range model in order to keep profits up at the same time as keeping it at a price point people would go for. Had they used a decent box God alone knows what they'd be charging for it.

                   John.

Although the Goodmans box is very accessible, it is of very low quality. It feels cheap, the sound and picture quality feels of something you would have bought by Dixons own brand 10 years ago, and sadly the processor used is far too under powered to drive the TTS without stutter, you will have to turn the speech rate down to help prevent this. If anyone is thinking of buying this then don't, wait until the next version. I sent mine back.

hi all

I don't know if it is just my hearing but when I turn the volume up on my TV set I hear a constant buzz over the program is this how it is supposed to be?
I do like the goodmans though it is great but I notice 2 problems

1. no info available is given for many of the channels on the EPG is that because my region does not finish switchover until 20th of this month, so next week?
2. the speech stammers really bad, why has this not been addressed?
