Exactly! Sounds like one of those scams that fakes to be Malwarebytes I'm afraid.

I am inclined to agree with Chris.

The program I am using is MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and the download link is

www.malwarebytes.org

The program is free, but, if you want realtime protection, then I believe it
costs about £17.

That's not true. Or if it is I'm very confused. It said that the malware
was
removed successfully when I used it last night, and mentioned nothing
about
paying for it to remove the malware. Are you sure it's *malwarebytes* and
not something else?
