Hi Gordon. I'm afraid he did, but your help was much appreciated. Kind regards, Bill.

Hi Bill

I guess Chris has beaten me to it.

Hi Gordon. Thanks for that download link. That indeed does work and is free.
But you may be interested to know that in Google, I typed , free malbyte,
and despite typing it twice, when I installed them I was given 2 different
versions of which I was not aware until it did a scan, and on both
occasions they wanted money before they would clear their findings. So much
for free. Do you know if you can schedule this one, and what is real time?
Once again thanks for the help.
Bill.

I am inclined to agree with Chris.

The program I am using is MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and the download link is

www.malwarebytes.org

The program is free, but, if you want realtime protection, then I believe it
costs about £17.

That's not true. Or if it is I'm very confused. It said that the malware
was
removed successfully when I used it last night, and mentioned nothing
about
paying for it to remove the malware. Are you sure it's *malwarebytes* and
not something else?

Hi folks. Can anyone explain to me why the above antivirus software says
it's completely free for personal use, then as soon as it has scanned
your
computer, will not fix the problems until you pay for it? Hope someone
can
help. Bill Chilcott.
