Hi

I recently needed to use a new card on my Stream, and had to go through the
Audible activation procedure before I could use it for Audible books.

You'd lose that bet Steve (smile), the manual definitely says that the
authorisation file is stored on the Sd card.

Hi,

I bet the authorisation is not stored on the SD card. This would mean you
couldn't swap cards.

All the best

Steve

Hi Clive, You need to hold down keys 2, 6 and 8 whilst turning the Stream
on. You will then be placed in a menue and if you use 8 or 2 to move through
it, one of the options will be to format the internal memory. You'll lose
any podcasts, radio stations, saved encyclopedia articles and bookmarks, but
the firmware will be fine. The SD card won't be effected and so I don't
think Audible should be effected either as the authorisation file is stored
on the SD card.

Hello Steve and fellow listers,

I have just checked in the Stream's menus and there isn't an option to
format the internal memory, just the SD card. How is this done if needed?

best wishes,

Clive Pallett
