That said, does it indeed have a audio jack socket of the conventional

anyway.
I do not think I explained the situation too well, I had a senior
moment,
lol.
With my wife's Acer 1 xp home netbook.
When I said there was no audio at all, Imeant the Netbook built in
speakers
didn't seem to be working anymore.
No sound was coming from the netbooks speakers.
