Does this small Sendspace downloader program work for regular, non registered, sendspace downloads or only with Max or registerd accounts?

Thanks, Peter. I thought once I'd installed the program to download that would do for everything. Now I understand what I should do. Saves all that blundering about!Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Holdstock" <peterholdstock@xxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2010 4:13 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: films from Blind MiceOn the send space page I just use the button to download it faster rather than the regular download. You don't have to log in but it does install a small download programme which changes your web search and home page default. But worth doing if downloading several files as you can have as many windows of that download programme open as you want and it's fully accessible with JAWS. It's like a streamlined version of the send space wizard I guess. It's just easier to do because you don't have to find the links etc, just press B twice to jump to the button and it starts downloading the programme which takes a second, then on the window that comes up press start download.Peter Peter -----Original Message----- From: Joan Muir Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2010 3:45 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: films from Blind Mice Hi, Maureen, Now you've made me download yet another tear-jerker! I too find it difficult to navigate the Sendspace page. I find myself using windows +m to get to the desktop and alt tabbing round because I have a feeling sometimes adverts or some such intrude. Eventually I usually get there by using the links list in Jaws and going onto the film and entering there. Once I get onto it I can get round by tabbing but I do find it a bit fiddly. Sorry I can't be more helpful. When I enter on the link with the name of the film it takes me to where it says 'you are about to download' and then the name of the film, but there isn't actually a link to download. Can anyone give me any pointers? Am I just being thick? lol All the best Mo Peter Holdstock wrote:Yes just for the MP3 files. So I should make MediaPlayer the principal player then. I just couldn't understand why some films would play all right while this particular one wouldn't. As you say, they are all MP3 soundtracks with audio description, and very good too.Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- *From:* Peter Holdstock <mailto:peterholdstock@xxxxxxx> *To:* access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> *Sent:* Tuesday, December 28, 2010 3:25 PM *Subject:* [access-uk] Re: films from Blind Mice They are just MP3 files so I play them with Windows Media Player. However, RealPlayer says there is no software available to play the film. I didn't have that problem with other films. Is there another player I should be using? On the subject of downloading from Blind Mice, I registered with Sendspace and I find that it wants to take over my Internet Explorer home page and I also think it clogs up websites. Using Windows XP and IE8. Any help will be appreciated.
