ears ago, the free version to eudora limited you to only one email cccount. the pro version of eudora has always allowed for multiple email accounts.

Since 2000, there has been a "sponsored mode" for Eudora that allowed use of the pro features of Eudora and thus multiple email accounts by having Eudora display advertizing. This avertizing was not visible to jaws user; not sure about other screenreaders.

Eudora became abandonware, that is is no longer being supported or updated by Qualcomm, in 2006. Since then Sponsored mode Eudora no longer displays advertizing but just an Icon .

Since 2006, an Open Source version of Eudora is being developedby the Mozilla Foundation. This is based on the thunderbird email client and is still in Beta at this time.

While Eudora Pro or Sponsored mode can handle multiple email accounts, they all go to the same inbox. Additionally, Eudora has no option to be used in a multiple user setting with each user running it with their own user name and password. Eudora can be set up to work from different ddirectories but this is only a workaround for the lack of multiple user support at best.

John, I used it years back and, at that time, you could only put in details for one account because they were saved in a Eudora configuration file. Of course, things may have been altered since then.

If not, I can only suggest that you make two configurations and rename each time you want to use a certain one.

Hopefully by now this will not be an issue and there will be a better way around things.
