Joe, that is funnily enough, one of the first things I thought about.
I'm glad to say, that the problem has not occurred for a couple of days now.
I'm beginning to think the problem had something to do with the fact I had
replaced my power supply, & processor fan a few days ago.

Hello,
have you checked for malware and viruses? You might be able to view
the sysdata.xml file in your browser, may give you a clue as to
what's going on in part at any rate. Probably won't entirely fix the
problem.
