[access-uk] error in Kurzweil 1000

Hi all.
I have recently installed Kurzweil 1000 on my PC. In the past I used to
install my first version then install the upgrade but this time I just used the
upgrade disk and registered using my serial number.
When I try to save a file I have scanned I get the following error:
sorry we cannot overwrite this file using its original format. please save with
a different file name.
The file has not been saved before so I'm not sure what this error is about. I
wondered if anyone else had come across this problem.
