Jackie - Seems like I've missed a trick here! Talks Doesn't announce "smiley
face" etc when :) etc are used, either in a message I create, or one that is
sent to me! Have I missed something? -

Andy

| Hi Andy and James
|
| As far as I can tell, colon, dash and right parenthesis is a smiley
| face, while colon, dash and left parenthesis is a sad face. If I also
| do just a colon and right parenthesis or colon and left parenthesis,
| TALKS still announces smiley face and sad face respectively, so I'm not
| sure if there is a distinction on the phone's display between the two
| types of smiley and sad face. But whatever they are, and however you do
| them, I adore them!! (smiley face). How do you make them in an Email
| message though?

| Hi Andy,
| :) is a smily face, :-) is a big smily face, :( is a sad face, and :-(
| is a big sad face. I think that's correct, other people can correct me
| if I'm wrong.
