Hi Gordon, I do usually give credit where it's due and the accessibility on iOS of kindle is great. The Kindle app on Android however hasn't been optimised for speech and is much like the iOS version was before accessibility was introduced. That is to say you can read all the menus, but you can't extract any text from a book. It is still the same as Android. I think it will change though because the Kindle Fire HDX is based on Android, so I don't th8ink it will be long. It seems counter intuitive that the kindle app is not fully accessible on android devices, what's that all about then? Who's this guy impersonating Steve Nutt bigging up the ebook app on ios devices? ;-) Cheers G From Bridgerule in glorious Devon, England.
