The phone Costs around £106. But without speech, obviously no sending or receiving of text messages. the other is the Owaasys (not sure of spelling) sold by RNIB at £300. This has been specifically designed and has wider spaced keys and speech. I think it uses the makers speech system and voice, which although may not be the clearest at first, is OK when you get used to it. Give the resource centre a call? Good luck, Ray ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerald Locke" <g.locke@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 11:38 PM Subject: [access-uk] easy to operate mobile phone > Hi, > A blind lady friend has asked me to seek out a easy to operate mobile > phone as she has arthritis in her hands. > The mobiles she has seen, I think the latest, are so small, with > buttons > not too proud, and little space between them.
