Hi. I know I'm not Ray, but I was surfing the RNIB site as I got this message, so here's the direct link to the easy five. http://onlineshop.rnib.org.uk/display_item.asp?n=3D11&c=3D59&sc=3D195&id=3D= 3232&it=3D1 &l=3D2&d=3D0 hth -----Original Message----- From: access-uk=40freelists.org =5Bmailto:access-uk=40freelists.org=5D On = Behalf Of jim.taggart=40talktalk.net Sent: 20 April 2007 08:17 To: access-uk=40freelists.org Subject: =5Baccess-uk=5D Re: easy to operate mobile phone ray, where is the easy 5 sold please. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: =22Ray Hazan=22 <raymond=40rhazan.freeserve.co.uk> To: <access-uk=40freelists.org> Sent: Friday, April 20, 2007 4:32 AM Subject: =5Baccess-uk=5D Re: easy to operate mobile phone Hi Gerry, There are 2 possible options: the Easy5 has no speech and just 5 large buttons, each with a pre-programmed number of the user's choice. The phone Costs around =A3106. But without speech, obviously no sending or receiving of text messages. the other is the Owaasys (not sure of spelling) sold by RNIB at =A3300. = This has been specifically designed and has wider spaced keys and speech. I think it uses the makers speech system and voice, which although may not be the clearest at first, is OK when you get used to it. Give the resource centre a call?
