Hi Alison,

If you're talking about labels, you can buy those on Amazon.  I thought we were
talking here about the lack of machines to write on them.

All the best

Steve

When I called RNIB earlier this year regarding braille labels, I was convinced
the chap I was speaking to was mistaken. I really couldn't believe that there
was so little choice.
I did find a company who could provide labels cut to size but for the life of
me I can't find the details again, otherwise I would share it. I will keep
looking.

Subject: [access-uk] dymo tape machines

Good morning ,
A few days ago I asked about braille dymo machines. I only had one reply to
that email.
since then I have been looking around and there seems to be only two devices on
the market, one costing nearly £600 and the other one from the RNIb costing
just under £40. it seems not much choice for those of us who need to make
braille labels these days, making it difficult for those of us who are
Deaf/blind and need our labels for us folk.
who would have thought the day would come when one walked into a car showroom
and there was only two cars to choices from!!!
I do not like to complain but are people like me to be taken for a ride with
such least choice.
