Hi,

actually at the time I was downloading the files from a http site, so can
these programs be used for http sites as well? or are they just for ftp? if
they are just for ftp addresses, are there any download managers available
for http sites?

thanks,
Husna

hi. i'm using ftp explorer, and i know many who use cute ftp. both have
excellent resume capabilities, as many ftp sites experience this type of
slowing down and stopping. using alt+F4 and answering yes to the
cancellation of the transfer and then beginning the download again, asks
if
you want to resume the download. this is also very useful if contributors add another book, play, etc. to a folder. just clicking on the folder and
going to download would add for instance a further paul temple 8 part
drama
to your paul temple folder.
