I'm all signed up with them but there is honestly no one around here, last
time I heard we had a volunteer doing the batteries, don't even worry about
them, buy my own.

Hmmmmm, I am sure somewhere Trace, you have a Rehab worker. What area are you in and my partner may be able to find out for you as she is herself a Rehab Officer for Social Services. The website you need is //www.blind.org.uk
I don't know if you can aproach them directly or if you need to go through social services. How did you get your last radio from them?

I have the Symphony and no, it doesn't talk but I think what is being discussed is a new one from Roberts. As a matter of interest, if you have never had a radio from the wireless for the blind organisation, you can get the current Roberts model.

I heard it from Rose in the RNIB resource centre in Judd Street. She said
the Pure radio is likely to be taken off the market soon because they're not
getting as many sales as they expected but that Roberts are bringing one out
this year, she didn't know exactly when though. Vince is probably right
though, Rose was probably talking about the radio he described.
