Might this be a good start?

I do wish RNIB could reduce their URL lengths, so there's a
Tiny URL below the following.

http://www.rnib.org.uk/xpedio/groups/public/documents/public
website/public_audiodescription.hcsp

http://tinyurl.com/a2wgb

Hi Ray:

Thanks for the reply.

I have, however, trawled the RNIB site with no success - any
idea where the
file might be?

David

The Sony Bravia range is said to include audio description
facility.
I believe Panasonic flat screen TVs do too. (Panasonic came
out well
in recent Which? tests.)

Cannot find it just now, but there is an RNIB page, and Word
document
download discussing this subject. Also, a Freeview box with
in-built
AD is supposed to be available before too long at very low
cost for
those on low incomes. All to do with the digital
switchover.

Cheers,

Ray.
