Hi There are two options. You can either change the folder where your messages are stored - if you don't have any messages in the default folder that you want to keep - or you could import the messages if you want to carry on using the existing folder. To change the folder in which messages are stored and therefore enable you to read the messages contained in the .dbx files in My Documents:- 1. Go to the Tools menu and choose Options. 2. Choose the Maintenance tab. 3. Press Tab until you get to the Store Folder ... option and press Enter. 4. You will be told where your messages are currently stored. 5. Press Tab until you get to Chage ... and press Enter. 6. Select the folder where the messages are stored that you want to use in Outlook Express and choose OK. 7. You will be told that your message store folder is about to be changed and asked if you want to continue - or something like that. Choose Yes. 8. You will be told that your message store folder will not be changed until you re-start Outlook Express. Choose OK. 9. Press Tab about five times until you reach OK, and press Enter. 10. Close Outlook Express and then re-start it. Your message store folder will have been changed and you should be able to see the messages contained in the .dbx files.
