Depends what you mean by portable. Personally I love the little Goodmans
personal DAB/FM radio to which you can listen either via headphones or earbuds
or alternatively using its own little speaker. It’s also very small and quite
easy to operate especially once the presets are chosen. There are twenty on
both DAB and FM.

Hi Jacob
I recommend not a DAB radio but the E5 speaker from GGMM. This has
the Alexa service, so you can ask her to stream whatever you wish to listen
to.
It is a Bluetooth speaker with excellent sound and battery life, and
you can use its auxiliary socket to plug in a Stream or whatever else
you wish to listen to. There are physical controls on the top of it,
and this looks exactly like a radio but without the tuner in it.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown
