This is very helpful. Thank you.
Will the programme explain what steps I need to take?

NCH Switch Sound Converter is a tool very popular amongst the blindness
community to quickly convert audio files from one format to another. iTunes
does not natively support WMA (Windows Media Audio) format as it is a
proprietary format developed by Microsoft, so if you want to import WMA
audio files into iTunes, you need to convert them hence the use of such a
tool as Switch. It comes in a free and paid version, you can find the NCH
software downloads page for audio tools here:
https://www.nch.com.au/software/audio.html
Hope this answers your question.
