Dannie, thanks for the explanation. I'll try that out,

Hi.

You do that by first hitting enter on the re-encode compressed audio files
option which is on the convert menu.. This opens a slightly odd open box in
that their doesn't seem to be anywhere that you can tel it where your ogg
files are. Believe it or not, the only way I have found to do this without
messing around with the jaws cursor is by pressing enter on the read only
edit box in which you land in.
This opens a dialogue with a tree view of folders. Find the folder that
you're ogg files are located in and press enter. This will put you back on
to the read only edit box.
All the files within that folder that CDEx can convert are highlighted by
default, but if you tab around a bit you'll come to a list view of them and
you can highlight which ones you would like converting. There is also a
select all button. A couple other controls of note are the delete origional
checkbox, which will remove the ogg files after conversion, and the keep
original directory structure, which does what it says really. When you've
got it all set up, then hit enter on convert. The conversion process takes a while and the last time I used this, it slowed down my computer, so you'd
best leave it to do this when you're away from your pc..
The files will be converted using your usual bitrate settings, and I can't
remember if they go in the same folder as tracks ripped from cds, or a
different one. There are two read only edit boxes on the file names tab of
the configuration, so you might want to check those.

I hope this helps. And sorry if that went completely over your head.

Dannie
