The program you want is xilisoft audio converter. It worked for me without the
buzzing. A Google will find a download site.

Hi All
Can anyone throw any light on my problem.
I have several books downloaded from Audible.co.uk, in AAC format.
I have used both Goldwave and Switch to convert the AAC files into both mp3,
and wav. If I try to play them back, I just get an awful buzzing noise, using
winamp and media player.
Are these AAC files not meant to be converted?
Any help appreciated.
