Web Key is the key which is assigned to your router. It's a security feature so no one else can access your internet. Some people don't have a web key setup and their internet access is open to people in the surrounding block of houses. If you don't have a web key setup on your router then consult your manual which came with the router and set one up accordingly. Remember if some one has access to your internet then they can pretty much do what ever they like such as download large files and visit unsavory sites and your the one who will get prosecuted as your IP address will be traced. ----- Original Message ----- From: "TrueBlue & Proud" <hotscot72@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Go to connect to in your startup menu and select wireless connections and you will be taken to a list of wireless connections Select the connection you want and type in the web key if required and away you go. Your computer should automatically connect when in range of this wireless router. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Husna Begum" <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi,

is there a way to make the computer search for a wireless connection and
connect to it automatically and ensure that if the connection is lost it
attempts to reconnect? if this does not work is there a way to connect
manually using the keyboard because I think there is an icon on the bottom of the screen but I don't know how to access this as it does not appear in
the system tray.

the other thing is that jaws announces the status of the wireless connection every 10 seconds which is extremely irritating, is there a way to stop this?
using jaws version 8 on windows xp and it's a bt home hub.

thanks,
Husna
