Hi Steve

I am not really sure what I am doing but I am waiting for a full manual for the voice mate to come from cobolt.

Do you know of a supplier for usb to serial cables?

As regards settings, the voice mate software keeps specifying certain serial ports.

Regards

Adrien

Hi Adrien,

Why doesn't USB to serial work? There are probably settings you can change
within the port's parameters in control panel. Check the Voicemate manual
and see if there are any special settings it needs for serial ports.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] connecting my voice mate

Hi

I need to connect my voice mate to my laptop but I don't have the necessary port I.e. a 9 pin port on my laptop, can I get a card or other device that I

can connect to the laptop?

I have tried a usb to serial lead but it doesn't work with the voicemate.

Regards

Adrien
