Hi Hazel,
Seek out a Vision Express near you, they have some superb sun glasses and can
make them as dark as you like, All for a price, however at the end of the day
if they make you feel good, it will be worth it.
All the best, Ibby.

i've got lovely sunglasses in Marks & Spencer which I am able to wear over my
own glasses. I think you can buy those funny looking ones from Cobolt but I
would not knock them really as many people find it is very good where they give
protection from sunlight at the side as well. I have a friend who is quite
partially sighted and when she wears them her family says she is wearing her
Eskimo glasses again!

Amro, that is the kind of glasses I am after but not those Black ones you
mentioned.

I want to go out looking something like respectable not looking like a blind
freak show.

Yes I will look at general sun glasses, good idea, thanks for this

Excuse my ignorance, but I’m curious, what are concealment glasses? Are they
those black ones for the blind? And if yes, wouldn’t a regular pair of
sunglasses do?

I have tried all the usual opticians to try and buy a decent pair of
concealment glasses but none of them can supply any.

The ones given by the NHS are not fit to be seen in.

I wanted something a little more acceptable to be seen in.

Any suggestions would be great.
