Funny, mine done the very same thing half an hour ago and like you I was
only opening an email.
These things happen, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it begins to
happen on a daily basis.

my computer just switched off by itself and then restarted. i wasn't even
doing anything, just looking at an email. does that mean it's going to die
soon? i think it did that a month or 2 back as well.
