Alexander - I remember my first on-line purchase, from Aria, 6 years ago;
like you now, I had trepidation regarding what might happen to my card
details etc. and in 6 years of many on-line purchases, I've never had any
difficulties of any kind, and if I have had cause to send any thing back, my
card has been credited with the refund. It's a great and quick way to shop,
and I do so now, with no fear; when I have doubts about a website or perhaps
a vendor on ebay, I do what I can to find out about them, and use lists like
this one to double check for others experience when I have doubts or
concerns.
I have bought many programmes on-line, and I now buy books and music and
groceries, and all sorts, this way, and love how hastle free it is.
Hope you are able to have a mind shift on this one, as I'm sure you'll love
it, once you come to trust it, and of course, you do have credit card
protection when shopping on-line. And to put your mind at rest, you can
always check with your credit card company, and/or get their policy
regarding on-line fraud in an accessible format to read for yourself.
