Hi all,

I agree with Steve, Diskeeper is well worth buying, been using it for
years here, and never had a problem.

All the best

Hi folks,

Why not just buy Diskeeper, http://www.diskeeper.com. Then you can
forget
about defragging altogether and let Diskeeper do it for you. I can't
recommend it highly enough. It defrags in the background while you are
working, and I can honestly say I see no degradation in performance when
it
is defragging. In fact, the opposite. I find my machine is snappy all
of
the time now.

Incidentally, it is also completely screen reader friendly, with JAWS,
Window-Eyes, and System Access, the three I have tried it with.

All the best

Steve

It's scan disk first, and it really does make a difference after it's
done.
I once remember that, when JAWS used the authorisation disk, I
defragmented
the harddrive and lost the key, it went back into demo! Thank goodness
we
don't use that stupid disk way anymore, remember how you had to backup
the
keys and all that!
