Hi Julie, It works like this. Add Dot 6 to the letters A to I for 1 to 9. So 1 is Dots 1-6, 2 is dots 1-2-6, etc. So for is D plus Dot six, making dots 1-4-5-6. Because of the stupidity of UK Braille, (My opinion of course), they can't stick to logic with 0, so that is all six dots. If we did J with Dot 6 we would get W. One reason I hate UK computer Braille, not well thought out. Give me US Braille any time.
