Hello,
I have a computer with xp and 1 gb ram and a laptop with 2 gb ram and vista and I think that the xp system is faster.

   Best wishes, Tony Pearce

Andy,

I think, if you could get a laptop with 2 GB of RAM, it would work better
with Vista than 1 GB. 1 GB is fine for XP, but Vista is more of a memory
hog, so 2 GB would produce a more responsive system.

Caroline.

I've looked at the E-buyer website and as you have quoted
below, it says:

"DDR2-667 SDRAM 1024MB Up to 2 GB"

In other words, 1024 megabytes of memory (which is in simple
words a Gigabyte) and then says "Up to 2 GB".

However, I'm a shade worried about this model, as it does
not appear on Fujitsus's UK web pages, although does
Internationally, for example New Zealand at the following
URL.

http://www.fujitsu.com/nz/services/technology/pc/esprimo/v55
35/specs.html

George.

James - thanks for your prompt response, can you help me
understand what it
is saying about memory?

It states:

Memory: DIMM slots (667 MHz support) 2 2, DDR2-667 SDRAM
1024MB Up to 2 GB

I can't figure out if it says it comes with 1024 mb of
memory, or implies it
has 2GB of memory

Thanks -

Andy

| Very nice specs. Will only work with Jaws 8.0.2173, Jaws
9.0 will work
best
| with it though.
