Hello Ibby,

you're seeing grouped messages.
from your message list, Alt+V followed by V followed by G should bring
normality back. The G is a toggle, so if you do it again, they'll collaps into
groups once more.

Best,
Clive

  Hi Julie.

Could you tell us about your system, what screen reader, windows version and
email client? Usually if a message is collapsed then it means that it is part
of a thread and pressing enter on it will open the most recent message in that
thread. You can tap the right arrow key to access messages inside the thread,
it makes moving and or deleting threads much simpler and easier, you can delete
messages in a whole thread that don't interest you with a single keystroke.

  All the best, Ibrahim.

For some reason, some of my email messages in my in-box are appearing with
the word collapsed in front of them. What does this mean and how can I stop
this occurring?

Its only been happening within the last few days.
  Thank you for any help.
  Best wishes, Julie.
