Husna -

The Cobalt colour detector isn't brilliant by any means, but non the less, I find it useful for identifying clear strong colours, where it seems to struggle is with boarder line colours, reporting many things as being olive green, e.g: I have a beige jacket that it sees as olive green, I have dark green jeans that it reports as being dark grey/olive green.

It's good for pairing up socks if they get separated in the wash, and like I say, will distinguish between more definite colours, so is useful, but not definitive, but then again, neither is eye sight <smile>

Hi,

Has any one used the cobalt colour detector that you can get for 50
pounds? If so, how good is it for telling the right colour of clothes
for example?

thanks, Husna
