I do use CDEX, but haven't got round to ripping more CD's for a while now.  I 
gave up using the ASPI drivers when I installed last time and couldn't find 
them, and it asked if I wanted to use something else as an alternative.  I said 
"Yes" and it's worked fine.

I can't remember better than that though so sorry I can't give more information.

I think if you try to use it without those drivers then you'll probably get the 
same message and OK it.
