Hi Ian

I didn't realise the hole was there.  Not sure if I'd use this feature 
though as it would mean that the unit was hanging upside down.  Not that 
there is any chance of the unit falling from the case.  I think if I needed 
to attach it to my body, then I'd use the belt clip at the back, though this 
would be better if it did not open up.

What do you think of the quality thus far then?

Incidentally, I purchased a pair of BSM 9 Binaural microphones with clips 
and produced my first podcast with the unit.  I sent my efforts to the Blind 
Cool Tech list and they loved it.  Not necessarily, the detail I was 
recording but the very good quality combination of this unit and these 
microphones.
