Hi Eleanor, you may have better luck if you spell the name correctly. It's liDE, not lidre.

                   John.

Hi Eleanor.

Yes there is, please visit:
http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/scanners/LiDE_series/CanoScan_LiDE_35.aspx?type=download&page=1
select your operating system and it is the first item in the list.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Mine is a Lidre 35 and Cannon told me that there are no drivers for Windows
7.

Hi All.

As far as I know, all the Canon LiDe range are compatible with Windows 7. Windows 7 detected my LiDe200 and LiDe210 with no additional installation
requirements, but earlier models might need a download of the ScanGear
software. If anyone has an older Canon scanner they aren't sure will work
under 7, please drop me a line and I can double check this for you and
direct you to the appropriate download on the Canon website. Remember
that as a rule it takes longer for drivers to become available through the Windows Update service and that includes updates, so scanners that worked
under XP may just not be recognised by Windows 7 for this reason.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Exactly what happened to me William *smile* but only thing I can say is
that I like these Cannon Scanners and felt it worth it to go out and
purchase another for Windows 7.

I am fairly sure that I had a similar problem and that the only way I
resolved it was to purchase another scanner.

hi all, has anyone else noted that when installing a canon lide
scanner, in my case a lide 60 under windows seven that even when
scangear is installed the computer states device drivers not
installed?
